[...] As I mentioned on Monday, if Barcelona cannot sign Cesc Fabregas today, I believe it will be highly unlikely for them to sign him at all this summer. Firstly, Arsene Wenger arrived in South Africa yesterday and so there is no possibility of opening negotiations with him till he returns to England. Secondly, he also reiterated our resolve to keep Cesc and affirmed the club’s position. He said; What is important is that Cesc has a great World Cup and that he comes back to Arsenal with a great desire to do well for the club. We want to keep our best players – that’s my huge determination – I built this team for years from 16 and 17 years of age with most of the players. We want to continue to work with them because we feel we are very close, and strengthen the team in a very strong way. [...]

I am always intrigued by your word usage and flow of words... as always well written... Mental blocks certainly do come and go.. but it is always good when one can jump back in with their passions. Glad your back in!

I can partly relate as my obsession with the Denver Broncos and the color Purple (not the movie.. the color) has left people with the impression I will die without the two.. I like how you clarified that not to be true.. even though everyone is fully aware of how much you adore Arsenal you are not as crazy fanatic as one would assume. You indeed understand the balance with life and that there are other important things in life as well as your fond respect and knowledge of the team. I still have yet to witness a game on TV, but I look forward to learning more about them through you. With all the possible trades and switching up for next year maybe things will end a little different for the team.

I actually can relate with your bandwagon comment in that there are many "Bronco Fans" in Denver when we are winning... BUT the minute we loose or some player is hurt and we are not winning as often fans drop like flies and go elsewhere. I consider myself a diehard Bronco fan. Tailgaiting and going to games when it is below zero weather, with the fear of frostbite and loosing a toe or finger is dedicatedness, if there is such a word! I find it insulting when people hop on and off the wagon at their leisure.. and they don't know the players, or popular plays or own any merchandise. I think if you consider yourself a fan you have to have some sort of merchandise.. and like you brought up there is a line. If you ave more than 3 jerseys you may bleed blue and orange :). BTW I am excited for American Football that starts in July (pre-season).. YAY!! The draft just happened.. we shall see what happens..

Having your fancy feet mats in your car spurs me to go see if I can find purple mats for my corolla :) Glad you have a holiday to relax and get ready to get back in that grind! That is an amazing option to go to the beach.. some days I wish I had that option....please enjoy it for those of us who cannot. I look forward to your blogs and encourage you to continue with it. It is admirable.

First of... I am learning a ton just about what is out there in the news andit is very interesting how decisions suddenly come about and how un-educated people really are..(including myself..) What really caught my eye was...

"Unless he has as stash of cash elsewhere, he won’t be making a takeover bid at least until he sells his stake in the Avalanche, Nuggets or Rapids as per NFL rules."

Saying the Avalance, Nuggets or Rapids in the same sentence either equals that I have been to two out of the three games already this year in my home town of Denver, Colorado or its a coincidence... which its not.. I wish sometimes I knew how problems on that scale felt... then I take my problems back gladly... I think if he sells his stake, things will be shaken up a bit and could raise red flags...

I will talk to Jay-Z's woman B about investing.. maybe they can throw some money in together as they are far from hurting for cash :)

What I want to know is where should I start investing in stakes and shares??

Im sure this will all blow over and a solution will be reached in time..... until then go Nuggets!
